The entrance to The Acorn Nursery School is on Church Lane.  Church Lane is between St Nicolas' Church and the Arts Centre, opposite the Three Horseshoes Pub. There is a pay and display car park at the top of Church Lane.  Alternatively you can park for free in one of the residential streets, such as Parsonage Road etc.  There's no access to Acorn through the school's double drive gates, instead, with the Church Rooms on your right, walk away from the Church, along the path in-between the main school playground and the senior's bungalows. You access Acorn via the high green pedestrian gate, on the right at the 4 way crossways, a hundred metres along the path.
